CAMPAIGNS:
Participate
In MAC's first annual MAKE HISTORY HAPPEN! campaign from September 2009 to the end of April 2010
The campaign features special monthly themes such as A Veteran Is... in November, When Your Investment Bombs...in January, and Women, War and Peace in March with different Act, Share and Give actions and ideas based on the theme to get you inspired and involved. In addition, each month MAC will release new, interactive, educational resources such as live webcats from experts in the field and a range of actions you can take as an individual or a group to support MAC's goals for the year. The muscles of the operation are individuals like you and the school, community and faith-based groups you work with and we need your help! Click here for more details.
Is your money being used to fund the production of cluster bombs or their components?
Although many countries - including Canada - have signed the new treaty banning cluster bombs, which obligates them to stop producing and using them, some banks and other financial institutions are using our money to fund companies that produce them. Find out if your financial institution is part of the problem and help us stop explosive investments! Join MAC as part of the global campaign to ban investments in companies that produce cluster bombs. Click here to find out what you can do!
