Canadian Baptist Ministries - The Sharing Way

Goals and Mandate of Organization
The Sharing Way is the relief and development department of Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM). It responds to disasters around the world on behalf of Canadian Baptists and it supports long-term development programs. Because long-term development that makes the most meaningful difference in the lives of people, this is where the largest portion of its budget is allocated.

The Sharing Way is a unique department in that it maintains a separate budget from CBM and raises its own funds for the projects it supports. The Sharing Way currently has development programs in Bolivia, Brazil, El Salvador, Ghana, Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda and India with relief and rehabilitation in other countries as needed. The Sharing Way receives program funding from the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), which helps support some of the projects with a 3:1 funding match.
