	The attack on the refugee camp in Korokon in south west Eritrea by the Ethiopian air force in May 2000 left a deadly legacy of ordnance contamination. Large numbers of the UK manufactured submunitions used did not explode during the strike leaving the refugees in the camp to live amongst the contamination for more than a year before clearance started.
