The mosque in Berit Yahoun village, southern Lebanon was destroyed during the bombing in 2006. The rubble was contaminated by both Israeli manufactured M85 and Chinese MZD2 cluster munitions. One man was injured when his bulldozer hit an unexploded submunition while excavating the mosque. Unexploded cluster munitions seriously affect post-conflict rehabilitation and reconstruction.
