After over 25 years as a signatory to the Mine Ban Treaty, on March 13th the Marshall Islands has officially ratified this life-saving Treaty! Every new State that joins contributes to the norm against landmines. Now, the Ottawa Treaty has 165 member States making it one of the most successful disarmament Treaties.
